We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Foreman to oversee all aspects of our vehicle and equipment fleet, including maintenance, driver management, and compliance. The primary focus will be on heavy construction equipment and company vehicles.

• Maintenance and Repair: Scheduling preventative maintenance, managing repair costs, and ensuring vehicles are in good working order.
• Driver Management: Training, and evaluating drivers, as well as managing driver behavior and compliance with regulations.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including DOT regulations, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Expense Management Create and manage the fleet budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving measures
• Maintain clear communication with the upper management.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Is a leader with great communication skills.
• Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Experienced in exhaust systems, fuel systems, drivelines, differentials, hubs, and all other components of equipment on pavers, millers, rollers, and skid steers.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending service manuals, technical bulletins, schematics, and diagrams (hydraulic/electrical).
• Comfortable using technology such as laptops and tablets for diagnostics and documentation.
• Holds a valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel or automotive mechanic experience.
• Experience using diagnostic scan tools.
• Stable work history demonstrating reliability and expertise.
